Shanghai will Accelerate the Construction of Individual Profession Credit Information System for Insurance Salespersons

Shanghai Financial Service Office and Shanghai Insurance Supervision Bureau are pushing the construction of individual profession credit information system for insurance salespersons. This construction is conducted under overall planning and gradual process, applying to the insurance salespersons in life insurance business and then to the property insurance, insurance brokerage, senior management and policy-holders and thus forming a coverall insurance credit system. At present, over 40 thousand life insurance salespersons have signed "Letter of Undertaking for Creditable Services" with their companies, authorizing the company to open their personal information and profession credit information to Shanghai Social Associated Inquiry System for Credits. This system will begin to work on June 1.
