In the next few years, Shanghai will further promote the clean production, develop actively the cycling economy, and convert the pollution handling from the tail end processing to the source and process controlling. Shanghai will accelerate the process of poison-reduction, harm-removal and resource-generation to the solid waste, promote the recycling of all kinds of waste, implement the sorted collection and processing of living garbage, convert the garbage processing from simple burying to poly-utilization, increase the ratio of regions that are applied with urban garbage sorted collection to 90%, and build the collection and processing system of rural living garbage. Shanghai will make efforts to develop the comprehensive environment improvement of industry parks, restrict the high consuming or polluting industries strictly, promote the centralized heating, improve the sewage emission and processing system, and particularly accomplish the comprehensive improvement of Wusong and Taopu industry parks.
