What are the reasons for men to get involved in family planning?
(11.22.2007)

1. To encourage men to be responsible for their sexual behavior and reproductive behavior, and enhance their sense of responsibility for society and the family. It also helps them discard out-dated childbearing concepts and requires them to take sole responsibility for restraining their sexual behavior and understanding the consequences.

2. To aid women’s reproductive health.

3. To support the ongoing contraceptive use of men and the research of the status quo. Due to male sexuality and contraceptive use only becoming a relatively recent independent subject, there are a limited number of contraceptive options for men. By men becoming further involved, this contributes to developing new contraceptive options for men.
