What treatment items (equipment and materials) can be paid for with Medical Insurance?

1 Treatment equipment

(i) Expenses on examinations and treatments by MRI;

(ii) expenses on examinations and treatments by heart and blood vessel shade X-ray equipment (including DSA);

(iii) expenses on examinations by SPECT;

(iv) expenses on treatments with high-pressure oxygen (except for emergency treatments); and

(v) expenses on treatments of external wave lithotrities.

2. One-off application and implant of synthetic organs and medical materials

(i) Expenses for synthetic crystal materials;

(ii) expenses for heart valves; and

(iii) expenses for the ducts used in coronary artery diagnosis and treatment and the cavity bracket materials.
