What circumstances are excluded from receiving medical assistance?

(1) Medical expenditure caused by diseases resulting from an industrial injury, traffic accident, fight, melee, excessive alcohol drinking or gambling;

(2) medical expenditure caused by a person benefiting from regular and quantitative governmental relief or being unemployed and in a less-insured family, when he/she received medical treatment at a medical organization that is unauthorized by the government or not approved as the successive hospital for medical treatment, or

(3) expenditure for medicines, appliances, treatments and examinations out of the scope of Basic Medical Insurance.
