How shall the expenses of the technical services for the basic matters of family planning (that are covered by the government) be disbursed?

     

    Those who are eligible for the expenses on the basic items of family planning technical services covered by the government, shall initially pay the charge(s) at his/her own cost first, and should then apply for reimbursement according to the following regulations:

     
    1. For those who are married and are Registered Permanent Residents of Shanghai, if the Registered Permanent Resident is under the administration of the town (county) government, he/she shall handle the reimbursement procedures in the Population and Family Planning Administration of the town (county) government in charge of his/her Registered Permanent Residence; if the Registered Permanent Residence is under the administration of the street office, he/she shall handle the reimbursement procedures in the district/county Population and Family Planning Administration in charge of his/her Registered Permanent Residence.
     
    2. For those who are married and are not Registered Permanent Residents of Shanghai, if his/her current residential address is under the administration of the town (county) government, he/she shall handle the reimbursement procedures in the Population and Family Planning Administration of the town (county) government in charge of his/her current residential address; if his/her current residential address is under the administration of the street office, he/she shall handle the reimbursement procedures in the district/county Population and Family Planning Administration in charge of his/her current residential address. The current residential address of those who are not Registered Permanent Residents of Shanghai shall be fixed in compliance with the address contained in his/her Shanghai Residence Certificate or Shanghai Temporary Residence Certificate of Immigrant Population.
