The Fourth Chinese-Japanese-South Korean Arts Exhibition Opens

    On June 7, the Opening Ceremony of the Fourth Chinese-Japanese-South Korean Arts Exhibition was held at the Changning District Library.

    Li Wuwei, Vice Chairman of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Chairman of the Shanghai Creative Industry Association, attended the event and declared the exhibition open. Present at the ceremony were officials from the Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress, CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film & TV, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Shanghai Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Consul General Obara Masahiro of Japan in Shanghai and the representative of the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai.

    Themed on “art in everyday life”, this exhibition showcases fine works of Chinese and foreign artists. An important activity held in the run-up to China’s Cultural Heritage Day, this exhibition is also a key part of the Shanghai Citizens Art Festival.
