Australia International Education Consortium Conference Held in Changning District

    On October 16, the Australia International Education Consortium (AIEC) Conference was held in Shanghai Jianqing Experimental School of Changning District. The theme of the conference was Comparing and Sharing Most Effective Education Methods of China and Australia.

    Bian Baiping, Secretary of the CPC Changning District Committee, attended the event together with officials of the Changning District Government. VIPs from the Australian side included Hon Tony Burke MP and Hon Bernie Ripoll MP, both of whom represent the Labor Party.

    During the conference, the Education Bureau of Changning District and the Australian delegation signed the Memorandum of Understanding between Shanghai Changning District and Austcham Beijing Education Committee, which will deepen friendship between China and Australia and strengthen education cooperation in developing world-class international education of modern times.

    In addition, the Education Committee of China-Australia Chamber of Commerce in Beijing and the Changning District Government will co-host a week-long education seminar in the third week of October. The seminar aims to provide a platform for sharing good education methods and discussing how to improve education standards.
