The Internet Society of China and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly released the ranking of the country's top 100 Internet companies on August 3. Two Putuo companies, Lazhasi and Poker City, are on the list.

Founded in 2011, Lazhasi Internet Technology Co Ltd runs Ele.me, an O2O food delivery platform with a 36.5 percent share of the domestic market. Recently, Ele.me merged with Baidu Waimai, the third largest food delivery service with a 17.3 percent market share.

Shanghai Poker City Network Technology Co Ltd was established in 2010 with registered capital of 360 million yuan (US$54 million). It is a developer and operator of online games with more than 20 million active users every month.

The ranking of the top 100 Internet companies is based on the company size, profit, innovation, growth, influence and social responsibility. Tencent, Alibaba and Baidu have occupied the top three places for five years in a row.

Statistics show the top 100 companies earned a total of 1.07 trillion yuan last year, 46.8 percent more than in 2015.
