Songjiang's Gu-style Embroidery on display at cultural heritage exhibition

Artworks of Songjiang's Gu-style Embroidery were put on display at the 2nd Intangible Cultural Heritage Exposition of the Yangtze River held last week in Wuhan, Hubei Province.

Artists Shen Lili and Sun Hong demonstrated the stitching skills at the venue. Some visitors got a hand-on experience with the embroidery and interacted with the artists.

Gu-style Embroidery is an ancient craft that dates back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and features exquisite embroidering techniques and vivid images.
