International fair to display more than 60,000 children's books

    2017 China International Childrens Book Fair will be held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from November 17 to 19, featuring more than 60,000 childrens books by some 1,000 authors from more than 50 countries and regions.

    The 25,000-square-meter exhibition area will display products from 360 childrens books publishers and cultural industry agencies. More than 100 reading programs and exchanges will be held, ranging from childrens books, animation games, audio-visual products, digital products, intellectual resources development products as well as parent-child education products.

    Renowned childrens book authors will also appear at the fair. Irish author Chris Haughton, Italian author Beatrice Alemagna, and a dozen other distinguished childrens book authors will bring their new books to their readers and have seminars and book signing sessions to interact with them.

    The CCBF was founded in 2013, aiming to promote cultural and educational products among children and teenagers in Asia-Pacific region. It also works with publishers, authors, childrens book illustrators, and copyright agents worldwide.
