East China Fair kicks off in Shanghai and vows to expand trade with Belt and Road countries
The 28th East China Fair kicked off on Thursday in Shanghai and also released its action plan on trade promotion among the Belt and Road countries.
Under the downturn of global economy, many emerging markets of Belt and Road countries have become China's "new blue sea market." The action plan aims to exert the fair's influence to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism with Belt and Road countries' governments and economic and financial institutes.
Also, the fair will serve as a platform to accelerate the facilitation of regional trade, expand the trade fields and increase trade liberalization, and the fair will support domestic companies to establish trade partnership with Belt and Road countries, and expand their overseas markets.
