Shanghai Fengpu Industrial Park (Comprehensive Industrial Development Park)

    Originally named Shanghai Fengpu Industrial Park, Shanghai Comprehensive Industrial Park is one of Shanghai’s nine municipal-level industrial parks. The park consists of Zone A with an area of 33.38 square kilometers, where there is a 3-square-kilometer state-level export processing zone and Zone B with 20 square kilometers, which is to be developed.

    Over the past ten plus years, the park has developed pillar industries such as electronics and telecommunications equipment, general machinery manufacturing, electric equipment and devices manufacturing, special devices manufacturing and metal products manufacturing. By the end of 2008, there are 225 companies in the park, including 130 foreign ones. A number of Global 500 and well-known companies, such as GE, SGL Group, Denso, Panasonic, Hino Engine, Exedy, Mahler, Autoliv, ZF Group, Plastika Kritis, Petvio, Leiyunshang Pharmaceutical, Shuangling TCL Conditioners, Zhezhong Appliances and CW Bearing, have set up plants here.
