Shanghai Songjiang Industrial Zone

    Established in 1992, Songjiang Industrial Zone is Shanghai’s first municipal-level industrial zone. It is located in the southwest of Shanghai and in the east and west wings of the ancient Songjiang Town, with a planned construction area of 43.69 square kilometers. Within it are two state-level export processing zones A and B.

    Songjiang Industrial Zone has been certified to Environmental Management System IS014001:2004, Quality Management System ISO9001:2000, and Occupation Health Safety Management System GB/T28001-2001.

    Under the leadership of the Party committee and government of Songjiang District, Songjiang Industrial Zone strives to ensure cohesion, enhance strengths, improve outlook and standards, and make even bigger contribution. The zone gives top priority to development, and goes all out to attract investment, change growth model, improve environment and industrial agglomeration, so as to ensure it will achieve all-rounded development and enhance its comprehensive strengths. Through continuous optimization of industrial structure, the zone now has pillar industries such as electronic information, modern equipment, fine chemical engineering, new materials and bio-pharmaceuticals.
