The 2023 Shanghai Bay Triathlon was held at Jinshan City Beach on Sunday.

Nearly 1,000 athletes from 24 countries and regions reunited on Shanghai's golden coastline, experiencing speed and excitement in the blue sea and golden sand.

The event featured three categories: Olympic standard distance individual/relay (swimming 1.5km, cycling 40km, running 10km) and half Olympic standard distance individual category, meeting the needs of triathlon enthusiasts at different levels.

"The weather conditions today are very good, and the water here is very clean. The scenery along the way is also great," said a German triathlon athlete named Peter who has been living in China for 13 years.

He believes that Jinshan is the perfect spot for outdoor sports enthusiasts in China to feel the charm of triathlon.
