On November 5, the first purchase order of the Songjiang trading delegation was generated at the 6th China International Import Expo. Songjiang-based Shanghai Lyfen Co Ltd signed an intent order for the import of chocolate with an intended amount of 60 million yuan (US$8.24 million).

"As a member of the Buyers and Retailers Alliance of CIIE, we have been continuously strengthening our international procurement efforts and upgrading our global supply chain system," said Zhang Lihua, vice president and chief supply chain officer of Lyfen Group.

She further explained that the primary objective of this procurement is to diversify the product range, enabling Chinese consumers to savor global delicacies right at their doorstep.

Lyfen Group's President Yu Ruifen stated that this is the sixth consecutive year the company has participated in the CIIE. With the help of this global platform, they have been able to deepen their cooperation with more overseas traders, distributors and franchisees, understand market demands and consumer trends, swiftly adjust and optimize product strategies and enhance supply chain management.

This, in turn, will further boost the international influence and competitiveness of their brand, contributing to the comprehensive deepening of their global strategic layout for the enterprise, Yu said.
