Applicable Conditions:

1. Education background and qualifications:

(1) On application for intermediate professional titles: Applicants with a doctorate’s degree are required to pass an assessment. Applicants with a master’s degree or a second bachelor’s degree need to have 2 years of working experience as an assistant-level professional. Applicants who have obtained a bachelor’s degree or have graduated from university need to have more than 4 years of working experience as an assistant-level professional.

(2) On application for intermediate professional titles: Applicants with a doctorate’s degree need to have 2 years of working experience as an intermediate-level professional. Applicants who graduated from university or with higher education background need to have more than 5 years of working experience as an intermediate-level professional.

2. A certain level of foreign language and computer proficiency is required.

3.Theses

1. thesis on the applicant’s profession is required when applying for intermediate professional titles;

2. theses on the applicant’s profession (published in journals) are required when applying for senior professional titles;

3. For technological professionals who do not hold any professional titles after graduation, in cases where requirements on education background and qualifications are met and the applicant has made a rather great contribution in his/her work, the applicant can apply for the title one rank higher than his/her current title when there is no title lower than his/her current position and the applicant is recommended by professionals in the same field.
