1.Scope of application:

If an individual is employed by a new unit after terminating the labor relationship with the original unit, the original unit shall transfer the personal housing accumulation fund account to the new unit within 30 days from the date of termination of the labor relationship.

2.Application materials:

Individual transfer and overall transfer need to provide "Shanghai housing provident fund transfer notice"which the original unit issued in duplicate.(The first sheet shall be stamped with the official seal of the original unit or the special seal for housing provident fund business)

Part of the transfer needs to provide the original unit issued in duplicate "Shanghai housing provident fund transfer notice"as well as the transfer list including personal name, housing provident fund account number and ID card number.(The first copy of the transfer notice and the transfer list shall be stamped with the official seal of the transfer unit or the special seal for housing provident fund business)

3、Service method

Offline:

the housing provident fund business branch of the construction bankin the place where the original unit's housing provident fund account is located shall review and handle it.

Online:

Shanghai Housing Provident Fund website www.shgjj.com, “Shanghai Provident Fund” mobile client, and “All-in-One Office” PC client.

4、Time frame for processing:

If the formalities are complete, no more than three working days.

5、Matters needing attention:

The "Shanghai Provident Fund" mobile app is suitable for units with 30 or less people who do not have supplementary housing provident fund accounts, and can log in with an electronic business license.
