The application, handling, review, issuance, information change, validity extension, cancellation, revocation and re-issuance in case of lost permits can be done on the management and information platform for the National Sewage Discharging Permit. The self-monitoring report by organizations that discharge sewage, enforcement report and regulation information by competent authorities in charge of environment protection shall be submitted to the management and information platform for the National Sewage Discharging Permit, and shall be publicized on the platform in accordance with the Measures on Managing Sewage Discharging Permit (Trial).

Digital information of sewage discharging permit recorded in the management and information platform for the National Sewage Discharging Permit is equally authentic as the original sewage discharging permit and its copy according to law.

(4) Common mistakes

1. Common mistakes: Organizations of sewage discharging that are under focused administration according to the List of Stationary Source of Pollution under Categorized Management of Annual Sewage Discharging fail to disclose information before application according to regulations.

Correct practice: Organizations of sewage discharging that are under focused administration shall disclose the Letter of Commitment, basic information as well as the items of permit application to the public on the management and information platform for the National Sewage Discharging Permit for no more than 5 working days.
